Our Story

Delta-lunar began when our founder, after struggling to find appropriate safety solutions for her elderly mother, recognised a gap in the market for comprehensive, personalised senior safety services.

What started as a small consultancy in Bristol has grown into a team of dedicated professionals serving families throughout the United Kingdom. Our growth has been driven entirely by recommendations from satisfied clients rather than aggressive marketing.

We remain committed to our founding principles: treating every client with dignity, providing honest assessments, and recommending only what is genuinely needed rather than what generates the highest fees.

Our Values

The principles that guide every interaction with clients and partners.

Respect for Autonomy

We believe older adults should remain in control of decisions about their lives and homes. Our role is to inform and enable, never to pressure or patronise. Every recommendation is presented as an option, not an instruction.

Honest Assessment

We will never recommend services or products that are not genuinely needed. If a home is already safe or minor adjustments suffice, we will say so clearly even though it means lower fees for us.

Family Partnership

The best outcomes occur when we work collaboratively with both the older adult and their family members. We facilitate conversations and help families navigate sometimes difficult discussions about safety and independence.

Professional Standards

All our assessors hold relevant qualifications in occupational therapy, health and social care, or related fields. Every team member undergoes enhanced DBS checks and completes ongoing training to stay current with best practices.

Working With Healthcare Providers

We maintain partnerships with NHS trusts, local authorities, and healthcare providers throughout England, Scotland, and Wales.

These partnerships enable us to accept referrals from occupational therapists, social workers, and discharge teams. In many areas, our services may be partially or fully funded through local authority grants or NHS continuing healthcare provisions.

We work closely with hospitals to ensure patients returning home after falls or other incidents have appropriate safety measures in place before discharge. Our rapid response capability means we can often complete assessments and essential installations within days rather than weeks.

For healthcare professionals seeking to make referrals, please contact our partnerships team through the main contact page with details of the patient's situation and urgency level.
